Mont Orgueil Castle

A grey, drizzly day called for indoor pursuits, so first stop the Jersey Museum where I learned the fascinating history of the island's origins, up to it's Liberation in 1945. It is centred around No.9 Pier Road, a 19th century merchant's house....two extras of some miniatures in a glass case which were just so beautifully created. Drove around the east side of the island and stopped to take in the view of Mont Orgueil Castle at Gorey. Another lovely day, back for our G&T's and G's wonderful home cooking....

Many thanks for the lovely comments and stars....second Covid test was negative!
