Late bloomer

Surprise discovery in the rose bush that mostly blooms earlier in the summer. An eventful day; met with my knitting/praying friends, and they helped us pick more pears from our Bosc tree that’s loaded.
In the mail today I received a letter mailed in the beginning of April by my childhood friend in Finland. It was a special birthday card, and held our correspondence to each other as little girls. We were both so sad that it seemingly had vanished. And today
I got it! Oh the joy!
