A rest in the sun

Spent last night at Greenlane Surgical Centre. My operation was last on the list and they decided to keep me overnight. All went well and I was able to leave mid morning, with S driving. Had muesli for lunch as breakfast in the ward was a couple of slices of bread (with jam); although they did offer weetbix. I didn't even like it as a boy.

Spent some time reading about all the controls on the new Pentax, and then S took me to Western Springs Lake for a walk and to take some photos.

This one of a Welcome Swallow on a dry flax flower stem is my pick from today. Makes me aware of how tired the KS has become.
