Herne Bay

We walked from Hampton to Herne Bay, not along the pebbly beach as that was too crunchy for extensive walking but on the path behind the beach huts. You can see the helter skelter on the pier and at the left the twin towers of  Reculver, a Roman site, I had a nearly out of date cheque to pay in. HSBC is still shut - I think this will be an excuse  not to reopen. Nat West and LLoyds keeping normal hours though. Phew.
