Irvine beach

One of those busy days off - hardly deserving of the name "holiday" - where I got such a lot done, but so little of it involved pleasure.

A walk on Irvine beach wasn't one of those things that "got done"... But as I was in Irvine anyway, and the sky looked so interesting, I'd swung round the beach park on the off-chance of a photo. A weak winter sun, faint rippled clouds - understated, I think is the term.

On the upside, I had enough time for a swift coffee and a delicious slice of iced ginger cake at the HAC (there's always time for cake!)
