Bracken

We are in the South West Lake District. This morning we went looking for the waterfall and were distracted by closed path signs and we wanted to go back to watch the steam train set off. We will have another try. This afternoon we were looking for the Roman fort which we eventually found after walking up part of England’s steepest Road. We were caught by a shower on the walk back but it has been a very nice day. The fort had nothing to show for it but the view down The Valley was worth climbing up for, see extra.
