Momento mori

Mrs F being a genealogist, we've probably spent more time hanging around graveyards than others might find healthy. This rather fine table tomb is a typical example of what you find in old burial sites, the skull and crossbones meant to remind us we're all on the same slippery slope.

With some governments seemingly trying to kill us off just now (depending on where we live), through corruption, incompetence or both, that slope feels slipperier than usual.

Tomorrow I hope to be more cheerful.
