A Day at the Coast

A finer day than expected.  Ordered a new tumble dryer for my Mum and hen returned to base to prepare for my mission to Hoy.  CMC has now gone on ahead to pre-warm the bed; you can never be too careful.  She dictated a list of things over the phone for my rucksack.  Strangely enough it didn’t include Mortlach, although it’s the first thing in.

I note from the Press and Journal (Northern edition) that an old lawn mower has been found at the summit of Ben Hope.  You’re just never sure.  It sounds a bit like Schubert’s book about billiards.
