Willow Beck Footbridge

I spotted this little footbridge coming back from the council tip the other day. Another visit today meant I could share it on Blip. 

Technically we live in Romanby, Northallerton but we are no nearer to the original village of Romanby than Northallerton High Street. I think it is to do with old parish boundaries etc. 

This old footbridge is just outside what would have been the village of Romanby before it was swallowed up by residential sprawl of the larger neighbour. I can't find much about the bridge at the moment, I'm sure there will be some history about it somewhere.
