Olive

Tiny Tuesday theme is something beginning with O.
I couldn't think of anything but then I remembered the olive tree in a pot outside our house
The tree itself is thriving and it produces lots of tiny olives but we don't  have the Mediterranean climate required for them to ripen.  We tried eating one last year, half each, speared on a cocktail stick , revealed with a great flourish. It tasted horrible and bitter, so we haven't bothered again.
