City Union Bridge

A few of my recent Blips have featured bridges over the River Clyde.

This one was unplanned.

Its the City Union Rail Bridge which once took trains in and out of the former St Enoch Station. It dates back to 1899.

The sun this morning was incredibly strong (in brightness not warmth!) and I liked the way it was picking out the stonework, the steelwork and the red paint.
