For Yew

After a mega washing load and lots of phone calls to the solicitor we decided we deserved a little trip out.  The washing was completed, and the house sale for Dad contracts were exchanged so off we went to the world of StevenG.  Steve had told us that he had a couple of prints in a harvest exhibition in the church and we thought that would be an interesting little trip out to the depths of rural Warwickshire.

We had two attempts at finding the church but got there eventually and as we were walking towards the gate I saw a lady walking towards me who  I thought I recognised.. IT was Steve's wife, Gill.  Lovely to see her and what a coincidence!  We had a chat and then went out separate ways.  We went into the church only to be asked to wait a little while as there was a party of school children visiting.  We didn't have to wait too long, just long enough to go to the florist for some succulents in a glass dome and some crocus bulbs in a jar.  We enjoyed looking round the beautiful old church and though that the art work on display about farmers and the natural world of the harvest were very good,  All sorts of crafts were demonstrated and Steve's photos looked great!

Thanks Steve for telling us about this.

The yew trees are in the graveyard and I was fascinated by the small size and the plastic appearance of the berries...
