A few of my favourite things

Anybody who's spent time with me in the hills will be aware of my deep dislike of The Sound of Music...

But it did spring to mind when I viewed this shot on a larger screen. Araneus quadratus was very sprightly, I think this small one might be offspring to the huge one I blipped a few weeks back. He scurried across the Rhizocarpon reductum very quickly, but I managed to grab this shot.

Thank you for all the well wishes. For large parts of the day I feel fine, head and sinuses all clear now. But then I cough. A horrid hacking non productive cough, and I feel considerably not fine.
Hopefully test results tomorrow.
