Loughrigg Tarn

The swans entertained us with landing exercises , floating past with their wings beautifully arranged and flapping practice. Then they decided to come ashore and hiss at us for changing on their beach. Tanya was worried they would grab her bag and make off into the lake  and when I brought out cake they made straight for me.   Quite unnerving and lots of hissing. There was a newish moon but with that cloud cover we didn't hang around for moonlight swim.

600m and 13.1°C
