Looking up

Daft start to the day as I tried to repair some glasses with superglue (unsuccessfully!) whilst getting some of the glue on the lenses and other bits on my lip and tooth. I’d been fancying myself as a craftsperson in the Repair Shop...clearly no chance!
Another busy day in the office (and my first day wearing tights for 7 months!). Surprise news of a colleague leaving who will be a real loss, and some tricky parts of a big meeting in the morning. Discussions over lunchtime and in meeting this afternoon with an external organisation...one was straightforward, the other has the potential to be explosive....will need to see what happens!
Bit of banter with V before we finished up, looking at the leaves turning in the gardens outside and the fast changing skies between clouds and sun and chatting about all the changes we’re experiencing around us....the seasons are turning in many senses.
