It has been a busy day. It was already busy before I got a phone call saying we were short staffed and could I cover? A staff member was sent home as she had a cough but no other symptoms other than those associated with a cold.  However, protocol determines she take a test and not return until she has, hopefully, the negative result.  If it were positive, all the staff who have worked with her would have to self isolate and the shop would have to shut for a fortnight with more loss of revenue. The importance of test, track and trace is underlined. I had to leave the shop for an appointment at the solicitors mid morning and then at lunchtime to make a house visit. I then returned to do some repair work.
