Bubbles

After a chilly night (good job we took blankets) it was more walking along the coast, this time south from Beadnell. Beach then dunes on the way out and vice versa on the way back.
Bright and breezy and there must have been 300 or so people around (plus many dogs), but plenty of space.
Various things washed up by the storms, the bubbles in this caught my eye and not far away was a large, red fish. We then unloaded the bikes from the car and cycled inland, then north to Seahouses, but not to Bamburgh and the wind was cold in the wrong direction. Brief stop at the harbour then back and a cuppa and cake in a cafe.
Roundabout route back as we had to go to Bamburgh and get a pic of the castle!
The wind dropped in the evening and we were able to cook and eat outside, definitely a bonus when there's scarcely headroom to sit on a chair in the small tent.
