Nottingham hitting the news for various Covid related reasons. One sad little sign here from a hall of residence.

Restrictions meant to be announced for notts on Monday, although it doesn’t look like it’ll make any difference to me as I haven’t been socialising inside really anyway. Also with it being largely unpolicable I do have my doubts. Doesn’t seem to have made much difference in Manchester and places.

Spoke to my friend who lives there yesterday and from the sounds of things most people seem to be ignoring the no mixing households rule to varying extents. The BBC guidance for Manchester states you “must not” meet inside homes and you are “advised” not to meet other households inside pubs or cafes. Advised is far too vague - can you or can’t you?
