Eleven

Eleven blowieoutcandles on the cake this year, coming on thirteen. Not the usual birthday party with family and friends that she’s had ever since her first, but a socially distanced one of 2 besties which then became 3, and a day trip to the Fforest coaster at Zip World in Betws which was heaps of fun.

Her gift this year was her own mobile phone - something I was adamant she wouldn’t get until she was much older but which, suddenly, seemed much needed so we can keep track of where she is on her ‘now she’s old enough’ walk home from school, an independence thing ready for high school next year.
