An accidental find

The season is marching on and I still haven't gathered any brambles to freeze for the winter, that is until this afternoon. it's not been a very good year for them; most aren't very big and a lot haven't ripened yet but at least I've got some for a couple of bramble and apple pies or crumbles. Sadly, not enough for bramble jelly, a favourite of mine.
When I was gingerly reaching through the prickly stems of one of the bramble bushes, I noticed this little group of delicate fungi growing out of the moss-covered bark of the tree next to me and knew right away that today's Blip had found me!
