Reserve photo

This wasn’t the photo I intended to use today. I had planned to go to the cinema tonight with my friend Lorraine, I was quite excited about it as I haven’t been since March and I’m generally a regular cinema goer.The cinema that we go to is due to close tomorrow as it’s part of the Cineworld chain so tonight would’ve been its last film until they decide to reopen again. I was planning to take a photo at the cinema.

Sadly though Lorraine rang me to tell me she wasn’t feeling well so we weren’t able to go. Luckily I took this picture in the afternoon when I was out on a walk. It’s the oft photographed pond on Southampton Common but it works as a reserve photo or what is known as an emergency blip.
