Jewelled Grasses

The sunlight returns,
Lighting up every droplet,
On jewelled grasses.


The sun was a welcome sight today after all the grey murk of late. It made everything so twinkly. I think the bokeh in this looks a bit like frog spawn ....

Had a nice day having lunch with good friends, one of whom is just recovering from a particularly nasty operation. We have known each other since we worked together in Brighton over 25 years ago, now we meet about once a month for a chat and catch up. Collectively we've been through a lot together ..... treasured friends.
