If only walls could talk

This is the remains of the Roman Bath House near Ravenglass. We took the steam train ( first class this morning, best seats in the carriage and second class back this afternoon) to Ravenglass. It’s a seven mile journey which took 40 minutes. We managed a walk to Muncaster and back and had two short hailstorms. We were booked on the 4.10 train returning but managed to get on the earlier one at 3.10 as we had just turned up when it was about to leave. It’s turned quite chilly and damp today. A ten minute sit on a bench for our lunch in the sunshine was the best on offer today.
