Relief

First bit of baking in the new oven and it's looking and smelling good. An apple cake from a new recipe book which I'm working my way through. Sadly the cake is still too warm (at 11.30pm) to get it's maple syrup topping added for dessert so that will have to wait until breakfast. Kitchen still undergoing some work as we wait for some replacements to arrive but the stone worktop should be fitted on Thursday.

Good news that the 928 passed it's MOT after failing last week. There was some joking at the garage that the car in it's day would probably have failed emission tests but thankfully some checks & tweeks meant it passed.
