Tree species unknown

Went to an 80th birthday luncheon today of a good friend . The extra is him and his wife. He was my mentor when I first started at photography. His favourite saying was fill the frame. It was  a very happy family occasion with just a few extras like me thrown in
Main shot is of a beautiful tree and no-one seemed to know what it was. It was rather windy and I couldn't get a good shot of it so thought if I put it up here some-one may enlighten me. The wider shots were too out of focus.
