The dropped stitch

Breakfast

Arrived in Lerwick to a dry morning, which steadily brightened up to what could officially be called sunny.

Breakfast was served in a basket and eaten in J's polytunnel. So peaceful, listening to a bee enjoying the late flowers and watching a wren flitting in and out. A bold and rather curious field mouse appeared, running along the planks at the back of the raised beds. At one point he seemed to be about to jump into the picnic basket. Not really wanting him to be quite that close I snatched it out of his reach.

Sorry Mousie Brown - coffee and chocolate brioche buns were just too good to share!
