Herts Girlguiding Social Walk

Finally, after months of inactivity we have hosted our first social walk since the Covid crisis. It was just 2 hours to test the water. It was socially distant and in small groups that set off 10 minutes apart. And it worked well. We had a wide age range of participants from Rangers to Trefoil Guild and a wide range of physical capacities; and it was a success. People kept socially distant and all said they’d had a good time. Phew! It was a lot of effort in terms of risk assessments and permissions so I’m greatly relieved all went well .
