autumn butterfly

Another trip to Hyde Hall today where normal service was resumed as it was much more relaxed and quiet than of late! We even had the cafe to ourselves for the time we were in there, and yes, lemon drizzle cake was back on the menu so I had to take advantage of that!

A few birds about for me to spot today - robins and long tailed tits but the not the best settings for photos! - so had to make do with this red admiral butterfly that was just hanging about in a tree near to the library there.

We also stopped at a nearby garden centre where they have a german christmas market currently on which made for a nice change and picked up some present ideas so hopefully we can go back soon and have a spend up! The only spending I did do today was on bunny supplies!!
