A washout

The men seemed to be ok this morning although JJ said one of his knees had given him trouble during the night.

In spite of true Cornish mizzle, we parked one car at Millendreath and then drove back to Talland Bay to (pick up the pasties) start the walk. We hadn’t gone more than three hundred yards before we were soaked and it was dangerous underfoot, so the walk was abandoned. This is the first time we have ever NOT walked.

Plan 2 kicked in and we rang our friends in Portscatho and met them near St Austell for afternoon tea. We used to be a gang of ten but one pair are now in Norfolk and the others down here, so it was good to catch up.
