Chasing rainbows

Today was the kind of day when the waterfalls blew backwards on Burg (see extra). It was also a day of rainbows, some of them quite spectacular.

The day started wet, but soon brightened up. I did very little in the morning, but in the afternoon we went for a short walk. That was when we saw all of the rainbows. The problem with rainbows is that they only come with rain, as we found out when a rainbow appeared very close to us and it chucked it down. We got very wet as we walked back to the caravan through the downpour. It was worth it though.
