Tarn Hows

Sunset swim in Tarn Hows. I decided to leave the wetsuit at home today because I was missing the exhilaration you get from a cold water swim.  Yikes  - only 10.9° , the coldest I have done is 12°C, and I forgot to put my thermal gloves on. Without a wetsuit the guidelines are 1 minute for every degree. That was it  - 10 minutes and I was out, tingling all over and feeling fantastic.  Hot tea and flapjack, watching the sun disappear over the hills  - a perfect evening.
