Caught!

Raccoons and trash.

Months ago Karen wigged out on one of our friends, out of stress and fear and love. He loves ballroom dancing and was rationalizing and trying to make it seem ok to start the ballrooms back up again. She apologized and he came to understand how much she cares for him and what a stupid idea dancing indoors is, especially with closed windows and no masks, when we have a pandemic. As a result he decided not to participate in reopening ballrooms and not to dance for the time being. Today he let us know that one of the students and one of the teachers are infected. Thank goodness he isn't. He isn't young. Sometimes the virus drags it out for an extended time period. Sometimes it destroys the cardiovascular system. Sometimes it causes cognitive damage.

I never understood why they couldn't dance outside with lights and a tent roof.

I appreciate that you have been careful. I was so terribly worried at the beginning but I think we can make it. We have a bit more to go but it won't be forever.
