Monday: Basking In The Sun

It was Thanksgiving here today so a public holiday.  Public holidays really are the best - a day off on which you don’t have to pay the price of emails building up.

We had a very active day at home.  Like good Canadians (which we’re not, but we like to follow their good example), we cleared our path and verge of the huge amount of leaves and chestnuts that have recently fallen.  It looks much better now, a large bin and four bin bags later.  We also winterized the deck and put away the barbecue and garden furniture.  

It was beautiful weather but summer is definitely coming to an end.  Barney is enjoying the sunshine while he can.
