Tiny Bird’s Nest

It’s only about 50mm across and was on the footpath in Glebe yesterday. It’s strong, soft and fragile all at once. Materials used are twigs, twine, animal fur, tiny leaves and flowers, cotton wool (or tissues), and blue fabric shreds (possibly from a discarded face mask). The soft indentation in the centre could hold wren or sparrow’s eggs. V1k1 in NZ might know.
