Autumn Almanac

"All the leaves are brown, and the sky is grey".

I enrolled in a Pilates class that was due to start next week, but due to pandemic it's been put back till November. This morning I went to buy a Pilates mat and came back with a book about "The Glasgow Boys", a group of artists from the nineteenth century that I've admired for sometime. My extra is one of my favourite paintings "A Highland Funeral" from 1882 by James Guthrie.

My album of the day is "Iron Man 2" by AC/DC. A soundtrack album featuring several of the bands best-known songs. Turn the volume to 11, and expect catchy riffs and a rough ballsy style that epitomises rock,  Back In Black is timeless.
