Bichon 'Frizzy' Frise

I had to give Jonty a bath yesterday morning and he dried true to his breed name, all frizzy and curly. Bichon Frise apparently means Curly Lap Dog but if I put 'Curly Lap Dog' into Google translate and ask it to show me the French it comes back with 'Chien de genou bouclé'.
I did brush him when he was still damp but he hasn't complied with my wishes for him to be brushed again today. I'll catch him when I get back from picking F.M.i.L. up from church.
