Innovation

When your toggle applicator breaks ( think a sewing needle threader, but a little longer), I had to think strategically.  It turns out that beading wire attached to a cork with floristry tape is actually far better, as I can get 2 toggles on the prong!

I need to have more backup toggle applicators. Thus I must need more wine.

I also had a delivery of some millinery material I purchased on a whim as part of hat week. (See extra) It is called jinsin, which is a woven straw material that I haven’t worked with before, and is more rigid. I’ve seen a technique for making a large ‘my fair lady’ type brim which I fancy trying. One day!
