Stirling Castle from Millhall.

It was a shopping, cooking and housework morning so this afternoon we “escaped” and decided to visit an area of Stirling we haven’t visited for a while. Cross the railway on a good new footbridge (excellent for train spotting) then along a quiet little farm road and, if you wish, turn across the site of that big battle in 1314. You just can’t help wonder what lies beneath!
Later we visited the David Stirling memorial where MaggieD caught the rays of the setting sun coming through the clouds.
