Made it! It snowed from Calgary through Banff National Park, we had sunshine through Rogers Pass then rain through Sicamous and arrived to this magnificent sunset. Peace!

News from the Audi dealership this morning is not good. The Audi suffered over $25,000 damage as the whole undercarriage was ripped off and the steering column broken. Apparently hitting a 3 foot by 1 foot boulder in the middle of the highway at 110 km does that. No news yet on whether the truck that dropped the rock has been found.

Having just arrived at the lake we now have to turn around and go back to deal with insurance, a car wrecker and purchasing a new vehicle. Sigh
