Empty

Wood pellet tank/bunker for our central heating is empty and has been for several months as we don't need it in summer. Wait until summer months when the prices ought to be lower. They never seem to be significantly so and even more annoying when you constantly see reports about the total collapse of the forest industry who are literally shredding huge piles of harvested wood so that it can rot.

The bunker could hold 6,000 kg but due to my poor design of the filling tubes, we usually only get 5,700 kg. Used to be critical but as we have had PV since 2017, no longer an issue as one load lasts a full year.
