La vida de Annie

Antes de la tormenta.

New Normality day 116.
The weather's certainly on the turn - this was at 5pm from the car park at the nearby urbanisation of Coves Noves, whose supermarket I went to for some emergency mushrooms. Later in the night there was a violent thunderstorm and rain of Trumpian biblical proportions.
Cases are rising slightly here, but not enough to warrant extra restrictions as yet. I feel sorry for my friends and family around Liverpool, who are now having to contend with a "tier 3" status. The news channels and Tory rags like the Daily Fail were full of pictures of "revellers" leaving the pubs at 10 pm and continuing to "celebrate in the streets" their closing indefinitely. Scousers are a feisty lot and really don't like being told what (not) to do, especially by a government demonstrably not fit for purpose. I hope it doesn't turn nasty, for the sake of all concerned.
