Banana part

Just before Scotland I snapped the plastic ‘banana’ wand handle on my obsolete DC02 Dyson. So obsolete even the non branded spare parts suppliers have run out. And it’s not amenable to duck tape, glue however super or plastic welding...so I was rather thrilled to find a local guy out in the fens who had one in his Aladdin’s cave (aka garage) of retired Dysons. Today I picked the part up, at £20 with hose thrown in a good deal. Plus I met up with a friend I’ve not seen since lockdown and we went for a well timed run in a sunny interval between hefty showers.
