This was a hard choice for a blip. Not the most accomplished picture of the day (you should have seen the one that got away), not even the best way to present this image (it looks great in high contrast grainy black and white). I just liked it because it was the first ball game for me of the season, because the girl was so innocently exuberant, because the night was warm, because everyone was happy to be out.
