Peaches

Bright but cold here today, went to west-end of the city and took trip down memory lane. Visited "Roots & Fruits", it hasn't changed in 30+ years, went across the road to "Ian Mellis Cheesemonger" purveyor of fine farmhouse and artisan Scottish cheeses (extra), bought some "Auld Lochnagar". Purchased main Christmas present for her that should be obeyed, from Nancy Smillie's, I've had worse days.

My album of the day is "For Your Pleasure" by Roxy Music. The definitive rock/art group lasted two albums with original line-up, this was their most avant-garde record and Brian Eno's swansong, before stylised vocalist Bryan Ferry established an alternate career as a lounge lizard and tuxedoed crooner.
