The Garden of Time.

Afternoon walk - always love walking at the University of Stirling campus. It was the University’s 50th anniversary in 2017, (and our younger son’s graduation year!). As part of their anniversary they redeveloped an existing Memorial Garden to create a new tranquil, peaceful and contemplative space: the Garden of Time. The views from here are great, the plants and specimen trees lovely - ideal for reflection on time, purpose and life. There are mowed lawn walkways and various paths, and more. The pillars in the centre form the entrance to the Garden of Time; they’re two of the original Airthrey Estate pillars, dismantled to allow crane and lorry access during construction of the University in the 1960s, and rebuilt here. The University was quiet due to the present situation and restrictions.

Family FaceTime - all well.
