Today's payday. Hooray. It's my first full paycheck this month. Stupid furloughs. This was supposed to be a good three-paycheck month. Instead it's 2 1/2.

The rumor at work now is that the company is going to offer buyouts. You know what that means? If not enough people take them, layoffs are next. Sigh. I am just going to keep saving.

Today Jill picked up a ceramic Christmas tree she ordered last night from a local place. It has little lights in it. She'll paint it, then the place will fire it up in the kiln, and then it's hers. I took this picture from the parking lot while she went in. She said there were people inside painting and not wearing masks. Come on! Why is this still happening?
