The sun did come, but at the end of the day. The rain we've had has made some of the grass in the garden grow like mad! It's still a tad early for lots of lush, new growth grass, but the last few days everything has literally burst from it's deep winter sleep & is now wide awake! Even Clive Blackbird sang his first fruity spring song today :)

I've been sorting out photos, washing, cleaning & dusting today. As tomorrow will be spent packing, as Dad & I are going away to Cornwall on Monday till Friday - our first proper break since before my mum got really ill - apart from Rutland, but that was already booked before my mum died. So we're going to make most of this time away, by the sea. It's a place we've been several times before with her, so it's going to be emotional that she won't be with us, but she will be with us, really she will. xxx
