in a church parking lot

of all places to find pink - out running errands - on my way home - not really paying attention - singing along to a song - on the radio - when i saw a flash of pink - had to turn around - to investigate because - of course i couldn’t let - it just go - pink is my color

pulled into a church - parking lot of all places - and saw a line - of low lying bushes with flowers - they appeared to be roses - i couldn’t believe they - survived these last - nights of below freezing temps - only the fittest survive though, right? - and there they were - bright pink and lovely - open and full - waiting to make it...
