THE BOYS ARE IN......

..... the Grand Final next week!

Oh I know, big deal and all that..... but this year has been a sort of special year for the mighty Penrith Panthers Rugby League team.

Aside of the Covid scenario, Penrith have been a Club that quite some time back decided there were so many young players from around the area they would set up a Junior development programme.

Well this year has seen the time when a good number of the team have come through that programme and now all playing together in the main Grade. In fact five of them have been playing together from school grade. 

It has been a pleasure to support a group of "young" enthusiastic players going out each week and just having fun doing what they love.

Must admit the last couple of games have been tough, but injury free they have made the BIG one next week against Melbourne Storm who have set the level over the last five years by being in four Grand Finals.

Only the fourth Grand Final Penrith have played in and last won 2003, so a long time!

Anyways, we can only wish them luck next week, but I reckon it's their time to shine.
