Barking

Our younger grandson has been taken to hospital this lunchtime seriously unwell.  He's been ill for a couple of days and been sick, but this morning he turned yellow and our daughter-in-law was advised to get him to hospital within the hour.  Our son is unable to be with them as they are only letting one parent in at a time, so you can imagine the state he's in.  They are now waiting for the result of blood tests.

I was woken at about 6 a.m. by what I thought was a fox with a bad throat, but having googled it, it would seem to have been a muntjac.

I went for a short walk this morning and enjoyed a little trespassing through a freshly mown field, but took this picture of the bark of a walnut tree adjacent to the pond.
